Ted Kennedy’s Seat

I hate to say it but Ted Kennedy’s s legacy of fighting for health care for the public — his big legacy — is going to be a painful memory. The Senate seat he vacated with his death will likely be filled by a Republican, Scott Brown, a guy who voted against aide for 9/11 relief workers, doesn’t considers his campaign employees his own and instead considers them contractors so he wouldn’t have to pay taxes or benefits, and will most definitely be a nay vote if he gets a chance to vote for the health care reform bill — a bill Ted Kennedy would have voted for in a heartbeat.

Good job, Massachusetts: you’re about to kill Ted Kennedy a second time.
